Whenever we play a flute, some amount of moisture from our mouth enters the flute.With humidity present and the air getting cut off due to the bags and cases we use, the moisture along with dust creates fungus inside the flute. This issue is more visible in a country like India where moisture and dust coincide frequently. This moisture is present especially in the rainy and the winter seasons. Keeping this issue in mind, we have created the cleaning rod. This cleaning rod is made specifically to remove the fungus, dust and carbon which is formed on the flute. There are 4 attachable sticks of 8 inches each and one mouth part of 2 inches.All of these are easily attachable to each other which makes the cleaning rod very accessible for you to carry anywhere. We also have a pouch to carry all these parts which further eases the process.
In winters or wherever there is dryness in the atmosphere, the hot air exhaled from our mouths coincides with the cold and dry flute. There are 2 reasons which could lead to this dryness, either the winter atmosphere or the usage of heaters in western countries where the weather is cold most of the time. This could lead to damage of the flute. To avoid this, we oil the flutes regularly and the cleaning rod is perfect for this.
